Twelve staff from our Calgary office spent time this month volunteering at the Mustard Seed’s Foothills location, helping prepare lunches for community members. Each group spent a few hours working alongside the kitchen team to prepare sandwiches, pastries, and fresh produce for the meal that would be served that day.
The Mustard Seed shared that they serve about 1,000 meals every day and provide overnight shelter for up to 400 people. During the winter they reach full capacity.
