Today, we’re proud to celebrate Craig Clifton and his 25-year milestone with Clifton.
Craig is our Vice President of Major Projects and a key leader in shaping the company’s direction and long-term success. While this milestone marks 25 years of service, Craig’s connection to the family business began much earlier. He started working in the lab at the age of 14 and has since been involved in nearly every aspect of Clifton’s operations.
With more than 25 years of technical experience in environmental, geotechnical, and civil projects, Craig has led numerous developments from fieldwork and design through to construction and quality control. He brings a deep understanding of the consulting engineering industry and is driven by building strong teams, helping clients solve complex problems, and identifying new opportunities.
Craig also plays a key role in Clifton’s Indigenous partnerships and government relations work, particularly in British Columbia and the Yukon. Beyond Clifton, he has held leadership roles with the Calgary Construction Association, Alberta Chamber of Resources, and both provincial and national consulting engineering associations, where he continues to advocate for the advancement of the industry.
Thank you, Craig.
Your 25 years of service, and lifelong commitment to the family business, have made a lasting impact on Clifton. We are grateful for your leadership, vision, and dedication to our people and clients.
