Join us in congratulating Wayne Clifton, CEO and Founder of Clifton Engineering Group Inc., on receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
Wayne was recognized last night at the 2026 APEGS Awards Banquet in Regina, SK, where several members of the Clifton team were in attendance to celebrate the occasion. The Outstanding Achievement Award honours members who demonstrate technical excellence and achievement in engineering or geoscience within Saskatchewan.
With more than five decades of experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering, Wayne has contributed to thousands of infrastructure, resource development, and environmental projects. His work spans transportation infrastructure, mining developments, major public works, environmental policy, and complex geotechnical challenges that have shaped projects across Canada and internationally.
Beyond his technical contributions, Wayne has played a significant role in advancing the profession through leadership with organizations such as APEGS, ACEC-Saskatchewan, and ACEC-Canada, along with mentoring and supporting the development of future engineers.
Congratulations Wayne on this well-deserved recognition. Your leadership and lifelong contributions to the profession continue to inspire us all.
Special thanks to Peter Scoular Photography for capturing these moments.
