Join us in congratulating Jasyn Henry, PEng, Vice President of Technical Services and Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Clifton, on receiving the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS) Early Achievement Award. This honour was presented at last week’s CGS GeoManitoba Awards Banquet in Winnipeg, MB.
The Early Achievement Award recognizes technical excellence, contributions to practice and industry, and service to CGS and the geotechnical community in the early stages of a career.
Jasyn has applied his expertise across Western Canada and the Midwest United States on projects involving dams, tailings, slope stability, embankments, seepage, instrumentation, and large-scale earthworks. His leadership experience includes managing $150M infrastructure programs with the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency and now guiding Clifton’s technical teams while supporting the development of future leaders.
He has also been a dedicated volunteer with the CGS for more than a decade, serving as Chair of the Regina Geotechnical Group, organizing GeoCelebration, and contributing to national conferences. His efforts to advance the geotechnical community and mentor the next generation of engineers have made a lasting impact.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Jasyn on this well-deserved recognition. Your leadership and contributions continue to inspire us all.
