Clifton held the 2nd Annual Clash on Ice in Davidson, SK, this past Friday. The Regina and Saskatoon offices faced off in a hockey game and introduced curling to the event.
Saskatoon won the first-ever curling match, while the hockey game, now in its second year, was a tightly contested battle with outstanding goaltending. Teams were made up entirely of Clifton staff—no ringers or imports. Saskatoon took an early 2-0 lead, but Regina battled back to go up 3-2. Saskatoon tied it 3-3, and with the game looking like it would head to a shootout, Saskatoon scored the winning goal with 30 seconds left.
A great day of competition and camaraderie! We’re looking forward to next year’s rematch!
