Misty Ventures and Clifton Associates Announce Misty Clifton Engineering Partnership
Misty Ventures, the Economic Development branch for Mistawasis Nehiyawak, and Clifton Associates, a leading provider of consulting engineering services in Western Canada announce the service- and education-oriented engineering enterprise, Misty Clifton Engineering Ltd (MCEL).
As a majority Aboriginally-owned and operated start-up engineering consulting company with a head office in Saskatchewan, MCEL draws on our experience serving and living in the prairie provinces to specialize in civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering in the region. We are committed to working with our clients to achieve innovative solutions while fulfilling the business development and education strategies of Mistawasis Nehiyawak and Iron Buffalo Training Centre.
In collaboration with Iron Buffalo, MCEL will provide the tools, education support and hands-on training opportunities for community members interested in pursuing a career in engineering, science, and technology. Following training, successful students will become full time employees of MCEL to apply their new skills on our projects. Under the guidance of a senior staff member, the new employee will work towards a professional designation in their chosen specialty such as Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, Environmental Practitioner, Biologists, Project Management Professionals, Technologists, and Technicians.
MCEL works with clients primarily from the Resources, Transportation, Land Development, and Government business sectors to deliver capital projects from inception to closure while managing environmental liabilities along the way.
"We worked with Clifton Associates prior to the partnership. This joint company represents our trust and success of working together to provide the best quality service and product to our clients." says Robert (Bobby) Daniels, President and CEO of Misty Ventures Inc.
